Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

Queen City Awning is an established organization and industry leader with over 145 years in the design of custom shade solutions is seeking to hire an industrial sewing machine operator. Essential functions:

• Operate industrial sewing machines to join, reinforce, braid, or perform related sewing operations in the manufacture of awnings, canopies and related products.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Read measurements accurately to a 1/16 of an inch.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team oriented environment that requires a degree of multi-tasking with limited supervision.
• Is open to learning and developing new skills.
• Prefer experience operating industrial sewing machines.
• Will train the right candidate.

Working Hours

6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Overtime possible.
