Duties and responsibilities:

• Grind welded alumimum and steel materials by finishing welds and removing burrs.
• Visually inspect finish product to insure quality standards are met.
• Enter stop and start times on a computer to ensure schedules are accurately maintained.
• Maintain quality standards as well as time standards.
• Ability and willingness to assist other departments to meet schedule deadlines when called upon.
• Adhere to all safety regulations including wearing of proper PPE.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical requirements:

• Able to lift 50-75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to kneel, bend and stand up to 10 hours per day performing various task.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required.
• Ability and willingness to learn a new trade.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools such as locking vise grips, chop saw, miter saw, band saw, grinders, and variety of hand tools for sheet metal work.
• Ability to accurately read, understand and demonstrate how to use a tape measure to the nearest 1/16” of an inch.
• Must be drug free; drug screening required.
• Must have dependable transportation.

Working Hours

6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Overtime possible.
